Our Strategy Deployment program bring the best of theory and practice together in a series of unique workshops.  Led by master practitioners, these workshops focus on establishing the right framework and set of capabilities in your organization so that you can effectively engage and align your organization on meeting it’s goals and objectives.  While these courses are stand-alone, many organizations see the benefit of linking these initiatives within a broader organizational change program that our consultants co-design with you.

This half day workshop will give an overview of the strategic planning process and how it relates to functional and business planning.  Students will be exposed to core strategic planning tools and how they enable choices.

This two day workshop is a deep dive into strategic plans, but not in a traditional way.  This session introduces the concepts of agile and applies them in the context of strategic management.  Students will learn and apply an agile risk management process to design the implementation of their business strategies and will devise monitoring mechanisms to provide meaningful, proactive feedback on the risks associated with the execution of the business strategy.  Throughout this interactive workshop, students will apply the theories being taught on their own business strategy and at the end of the workshop will have an strategy blueprint that they can use in their organization.

This one day workshop is based on Covey’s book of the same name and is designed for those who will lead the implementation of 4DX in their teams.  The Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) is a powerful mindset, toolset and way of operating that will dramatically improve results in your team.  The 4DX concept is based on the principles of focus, leverage, engagement and accountability. The 4DX Champion workshop will provide you with a deeper understanding of 4DX and how to link it to your business strategy.  Students will create their change management plans, implementation plans and communication strategies to accelerate the adoption of this powerful strategy deployment process.

The 4DX Team Implementation workshop will provide your team with an overview of the  4DX principles and the application of each principle in your team.  Your team will align on the 1 or 2 WIGs, identify and select Lead Measures/Behaviours, create a Player’s Scoreboard and experience their first 4DX Accountability meeting.

This 2 day hands-on workshop teaches the Hoshin Planning process and Catch-Ball process that Lean organizations have embraced.

In the first day, students will learn how to use the Hoshin Planning process to align the senior leadership on the goals, measures, strategies, projects and resources to achieve their breakthrough vision.  The will also learn how to lead the implementation of this throughout their organization using the powerful Catch-Ball technique.  In the second day of training, which will occur 6 weeks after the initial day, students will be engaged in a best practices and lessons learned workshop with their peers and faculty to celebrate successes, share knowledge and ‘check/adjust’ their implementation plan based on the feedback from the group.

This hands-on workshop teaches the Hoshin Planning process and Catch-Ball process to your teams.

This 1 day workshop dovetails with the Executive Hoshin and Catch-Ball workshop and is used to accelerate, teach and standardize the deployment of Hoshin and Catch-Ball in your organization.  Your teams and key change agents will participate in this workshop and work alongside master practitioners who will teach them the elements of Hoshin and Catch-Ball, after which they will participate in a team Hoshin exercise and a Catch-Ball session.  At the end of the workshop, the team will have a first draft of their X-Matrix and will have planned and practiced their first Catch-Ball session.
