This 5 day program has been tailored to the needs of Aspiring Leaders, those individuals who have not held a leadership position, but who plan to be in one in 1-2 years.
Effective leaders manage, lead and engage people daily in order to successfully meet organizational goals. This interactive 5 day seminar explores fundamental tools and insights for aspiring leaders who would like to better understand the roles of leadership and wish to develop their managerial and leadership competencies. Key areas of leadership practice and theory are identified and addressed through active participant engagement. Four areas of leadership development are addressed- leading self, leading others, leading organizational strategy and team development- through the lens of authentic leadership. Self-assessment tools provide personal insight for participants into their current leadership and work style preferences. Participants will identify their leadership style and behaviour in order to identify both strengths and opportunities for growth. Leadership skills will be enhanced through the development of a leadership action plan that focuses on professional growth that is linked to organizational strategy.
