Lean Six Sigma is a philosophy,
methodology and tool set that
incorporates both Lean and
Six Sigma practices.

Led by expert practitioners, the courses in this program focus on bringing the theory and practice of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) into the hands of our students.  To maximize the business impact of these courses, students are highly encouraged to bring a process improvement opportunity into the classroom, and for Green Belt and Black Belt, this is a mandatory requirement for admission to the program.

This half day workshop provides an overview of the core concepts and philosophy of Lean and Six Sigma.  

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to experience Lean Six Sigma principles such as Voice of the Customer, Types of Waste, 5S, Single Piece Flow, Standard Work and Kaizen in an engaging manner that demistifies these concepts and makes them open to them.  The workshops can be done on the shop floor, in the office or anywhere your workforce is.  We meet your people, at the Gemba.

Audience: White Belt training is suitable for individuals or teams that require an awareness of Lean Six Sigma concepts and how these link to the broader goals of the organization.

This 3 day course provides exposure and practice with the core ideas, tools and practices of Lean Six Sigma.

Through a series of exercises, students will learn fundamental LSS concepts (such as Value, Value Streams, Voice of the Customer, Process Variation, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work, Kaizen, 5S, A3 etc..) by applying them to a real process problem that their team is experiencing. Be prepared to engage over these 3 days and to head back to the workplace with a laundry list of improvement ideas.

3) Individuals who need the knowledge/skills to participate in larger change initiatives

This 10 day hands-on course teaches the essential analytical tools, change management practices and project management tools to design and implement process changes.

Green Belts will learn both how to use the LSS toolkit to solve problems and how to lead teams through the problem solving process itself. Students will be required to bring a project into the course and will apply the tools and practices on this project throughout the course.  Students will come to understand the Voice of the Customer at a much deeper level and they will become expert at using A3 to solve customer and process problems.  The will become proficient at using DMAIC to solve more complex issues and to lead teams through the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control methodology.  Running Kaizen events will become second nature to them and they will have a level of comfort analyzing data that was not present before the course.  They will master the use of the Five Why’s to lead teams through the root cause analysis.  Green Belts will learn traditional and non-traditional techniques to generate solutions and how to pilot these countermeasures in a rapid, iterative manner.  Plan-Do-Check-Adjust will become their new mantra. Sustaining the gains of the process changes will be the hallmark of the Green Belts and they will develop strong skills in implementing control plans to ensure the process remains stable over time.

This intensive course will create problem solving experts in your organization.  This is a 5 week program where Black Belt candidates will work on critical business project throughout the program.  This program integrates Lean, Six Sigma, Leadership & Change Management, Project Management, Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX), Theory of Constraints and Innovation tools and capabilities.  All of which are required to solve today’s business challenges.


Black Belts candidates will learn both how to use the LSS toolkit to solve problems and how to lead teams through the problem solving process itself. Students will be required to bring a project into the course and will apply the tools and practices on this project throughout the course.  In addition, students will be paired with a Master Black Belt coach to support them on their certification projects.

This 2 day workshop teaches you the core ideas and practices of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and the key responsibilities and behaviors of a project sponsor.  

In the first day of this workshop, you will experience the ideas and principles of Lean Six Sigma through a combination of lectures, simulations and class discussion. On the second day of this workshop, you will learn how to deploy LSS in your organization and how to select the right people, the right projects and the right leaders to make it happen.  You will learn tools to enable stronger alignment in the prioritization and selection of LSS projects to accelerate the achievement of your organizational goals.   As a senior leader, you will also learn and experience the power of coaching in the context of process improvement and the role of Kaizen to make continuous improvement a natural part of  your organization’s routines.
